HURR corny title. OH GOD my brains hurts after coloring this whole thiiiing. Ugh.

Okay, so every year for Christmas I draw my mother a big, colored portrait like this of various animals, semi-anthro, in various settings. Last year's was a white tiger in an Arabian Nights-esque environment, the year before was I think a Norwegian-looking rabbit thing, a Native American wolf, etc. Whatever she asks for, basically. Most of the time I forget to scan and upload them, but this time...you get to see the finished result! o_o;

So yes. This year she wanted a bear in a woodland setting, with some birds. Hence...bear in woodland setting! o_o; There are several errors, and places where I should have used reference photos (i.e...the sky), but overally I think it came out somewhat nice.

Prismacolor Colored pencils, yo.

ooh, that's nice! I'm sure she'll love it (if she doesn't already)! Man, the work really shows! I don't know many people who are this good with colored pencils! ^_^ Fantastic arting!

I really love the entire picture, how it's all warm and pretty..Only when I went here , I thought the focal point was some sort of cat.XD Sorries.Great job though!

RATHER NICE? LOL you made me laugh. LOOK AT THIS. just LOOK AT IT. It is so...heartwarming...dont ask why..it just is. I can just imagine a whole line of your pictures framed, in a line descending down the wall along the staircase. <3 oh what joy. <3
His face...I cant get over the bears face..I love it, the muzzle the features the face, the mouth...and the sky looks wonderful..I love whole theres a bit of pinkish in there and they overlap. and you do scenery like no one. Its so so so...magnificent! and the birds. OH GOSH the birds <3 I love them! there all PUFFY and CUTE. with those beady eyes. and those lil chrips they make. and the way they ruffle there feathers! :D I adore this, and I would LOVE to see the other pictures you did, I personally think you should upload them. I would really enjoy seeing them. (: OH LIZ. I love it.

Dude where are the badly drawn coniferous trees that don't look like coniferous trees? XD *DUCK*

MOVING ON! WOW. I am.. totally blown away with hos well done this is. The bear, the colors? THE INKING, augh so well done, it just.. wow. I stare at it for a moment longer now. ....

THE TREEEES, so gnarley and.. fantasticly done. ;; Impressive.
