Since I get questions about this a lot, and lately with increasing frequency for whatever reason... figured I'd clear this up a bit.
Commissions:
I very rarely take commissions, for a variety of reasons. If my job situation changes in the future, this may change as well, but for right now, I work full time and simply don't have the time, energy, or inclination for a "second job" of sorts when I get home. I'm a lazy soandso.
If I do open commissions once in a blue moon, it will usually only be for 3-5 slots at a time because again, lazy soandso. The information will usually be posted in this journal, or in some of the LJ communities I frequent (if you're looking for WoW art, the best ones to watch are wowladies or wow_fanart).
Otherwise yeah, just assume that they're closed unless you're a close friend or someone I talk to all the time or whatnot (then they're pretty much always open OOOH double standards look at me go!)
Trades:
That all said, I LOVE getting art of my characters! Gift art pretty much makes my whole dayweekyear and I enjoy it in any form.
Thus, trades I'm a bit more flexible on, with the agreement that you too will be flexible with time restraints. I'm not going to keep you hanging on for months and months, of course, but I work when the inspiration hits, pretty much. Forcing art yields shitty results from me.
Not quite sure how to put this delicately, but if you're interested in a trade with me, I like to get back what I put in. If you're expecting me to render you a complex, full-color piece and you're a beginner artist who's still very much practicing and hasn't gotten out of some of the learning stages yet... I'm gonna be less inclined to want to do a trade with you. Again, I try not to judge by skill levels since all of us started somewhere and my own stuff is far FAR from very good by a lot of standards, but please don't be offended if I don't have the time or inclination right then.
Additionally, I generally only do trades with people for fandoms or character themes I'm already interested in (Warcraft, nagas, some well-designed OCs, etc.). I don't draw fandoms or situations I'm unfamiliar or uncomfortable with, so.
Requests:
No.

Prints Up
It looks like DA's done being crazy about the border cropping on my Anatomy of a Greyhound piece, so after multiple requests from folks, it's now available for print: http://www.deviantart.com/print/26316829/
Unfortunately I saved over the high-res copy of it a long time ago, not expecting it to be so popular, but something's better than nothing I suppose! 8| There you go. I tend to just... not put my pieces up for print because I'm lazy and don't think anyone actually wants my artwork, but if there's anything other piece y'all would want to see available as DA prints, let me know.
Livestream Commissions Tonight!
You probably know the drill by now, but if not! Commissions are $15 for a head-and-shoulders portrait ONLY. No full-bodies, sorry, I don't have the time.
If you would like a drawingk, show up and ask to be put on the queue. These should take about an hour to an hour and a half each so estimate when you'll need to be there based on your spot in the queue, I guess! If you're not present when I call your name, you'll be bumped to the back and I move on to the next person. Gotta keep this train moving!
Payments are done through Paypal only, sorry! All payments go to liz.carlson@gmail.com, but DO NOT PAY until it's your turn! Then I expect it on
A Change of Pace
So, after about three years of continuous gameplay in either raiding, RPing, or both, I think it's time for a much-needed break from World of Warcraft. A prolonged and exhausting bout of drama in my raiding guild (former as of a few days ago) has really just woken me up to the fact that hey, you know what? The game isn't fun anymore. It's become a job, one I have to pay to play and dread logging on to. Whether it's just raiding or even fucking around in-game, it's all suddenly crystallized to me how boring and ultimately pointless it all is. We'd been working on Ragnaros right up until I quit, admittedly one of the things that held me back fr

I'd be thrilled if you ever had the time/inclination to do a trade. If you want to see what my OC's are like before committing a yay/nay, in my favorites -> Art of my Original Characters has some of the pieces I've gotten. ((And of course my art samples in my gallery) I love you style and characterizations - just found your DA but I've enjoyed browsing your galleries on you other sites
